Bear River Habitat Trail, Yuba County
Saturday, March 17 9:00A - 12:30P
Please join the Sacramento Tree Foundation in planting, weeding, and mulching the thousands of native plants our volunteers have planted along the Bear River Habitat Trail in Yuba County since January 2016. This area will not only provide critical habitat for wildlife, but will also serve as a beautiful, shaded walking/biking path that will connect neighborhoods in the city of Plumas Lake.
Filipino-American Veterans Memorial Hall
Saturday, March 17 9:00A - 1:00P
Join us as we celebrate California Arbor week by canopying the Filipino-American Veterans Memorial Hall. We will plant 11 shade trees and prepare a parcel of the property for future fruit tree planting. It is a great way to pay homage to the property that was once a Filipino-owned and operated farm.
Please arrive at 8:45am so that we’re ready to start planting by 9:00am.
