Bear River Habitat Trail

Saturday, February 20 9:00A - 12:30P

The Sacramento Tree Foundation needs your help in planting native trees, shrubs, and grasses at the Bear River Habitat Trail, located near the Plumas Lake Community of Yuba County. The habitat created by the newly established plants will provide an important link for wildlife in the area. Help us get these plants in to the ground and off to a great start in their new home!

Native Grassland Enhancement

Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge

Saturday, February 27 9:00A - 12:30P

The Sacramento Tree Foundation needs your help in planting native grass and sedge seedlings at the Blue Heron Trails area of Stone Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. We’ve planted and cared for pollinator-friendly shrubs and trees in this area over the last few years as part of a project funded by the California Natural Resources Agency's Environmental Enhancement and Mitigation Program. Come help us wrap up this project by putting the final seedlings into the ground!

SORRY! This event is full! Please consider joining us for one of our other upcoming volunteer events!
